Over 20 years ago I started three business at the same time.  I liked all there of them.  All there had an extremely low start-up cost but one required a long learning curve before you could make it work.  I had just retired from the military and there fore time was somewhat on my site.  Following is a list of those three businesses:

#1. Prepaid Legal Services, (Legal Shield).  This has always been the business I liked the most for a number of reasons, primarily because:

  a. The awesome Legal and Id Theft services provided 

  b. Their cost vs the benefits received is in my opinion, second to none.  their services 

  c. The potential earning (This is still my best business income source.  

  d.  I travel a lot, (and I mean a lot), and I can operate this business from any place that there is interned connection.  

#2. Vollara.com, Health & Wellness Products - Their air & water purification systems are 2nd to none, I also lie several of their nutritional products. I still operate this business on a reduced effort back basis, Vollara.com/godowdy, I am semi-active but if you need help, I am still available.

#3. We buy houses. I got really lucky on my first purchase but the time and highway miles it cost me made this an un sustainable business for me.  But at the time, i did exactly what I needed it to do, (pay my son's Chatman University expenses).  

Note:   If you are looking for a side hustle my recommendation you looking into Legal Shield first.  

 - or the other one  and the both had low start-up cost and that was critical for me at the time!  My idea was simple, throw them both against the wall and see which one stuck and I would go with that one.  Surprisingly, they both stuck.  That was over 25 years ago and I am still at it.  

Don't get me wrong!  There were ups and downs in both businesses but the one with the strongest track record during those 25 years has just gotten even stronger than ever before.  And because that is where I spend most of my energy today, that is the one that I will talk about here.
